Tea Talk

I’m Having:~
Dilmah Green tea in my favourite insulated stainless steel cup. This cup keeps my tea warm for a very long time, especially when we are studying in the school room. My two favourite teas are Dilmah Green Tea; and Lemon and Ginger Tea.

I’m Feeling:~

  • Happy in the knowledge that our heavenly Father knows our situation, and works all things together for good.
  • Tired – I was in bed before 9:00 p.m. last night, and slept soundly until my husband woke me at 6:30 a.m. this morning, but being anaemic again might have something to do with that. I will be glad when they work out why I am anaemic even after 10 iron injections – I’m seeing a gastrologist in May.
  • Ecstatic that our children are responsible enough to simply do their school work without too much prompting.

On my Mind:~
My daughter has a long stitch that we gave to her about three years ago – very brave or very stupid, which is it? I haven’t ever tried long stitch or any form of stitchery work for that matter. I wonder whether I have bitten off more than I can chew??? I have told her that the next day she finishes her school work early, we will make a start on it. Oh well, I shall have to cling to the Bible verse, and believe that:

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13

Thank you for joining me for Tea Talk, which is hosted by Ruth from Celebrate Friendship – care to join in the fun?

  1. We also take green tea…..DH makes it from the large loose leaf. I find the teabags have a very bitter taste.

All the best with the longstitch, what is the topic? I have to admit to a couple of UFOs….. will I ever get back to them?
    Blessings.

Every new projects starts with the first step!! I use to love doing long stitch, but generally never finished any piece!!! Its easy and no way as hard as cross-stitch which I can’t do any more as it hurts my eyes.

My day was quite dull and I too am tired and plan to go to bed early and read – I am currently reading a book about women of the bible which I am really enjoying (along with my cup of tea) – my eyes are aching probably from too much computer work (I work with spreadsheets all day). I think the change in temperature and darker evenings add to the feeling tiredness.

    Happy chatting

    Jo

I’m having a Lemon and Ginger as well! Good night, sleep tight! (My bladder won’t let me sleep from 9.30 to 6.30!!!)

P.S. I became very anaemic before Caelics was diagnosed. Hope it isn’t anything like that but good to get it checked out.

I like these posts of yours. I just like knowing what you’re up to, I guess.

This is the second time today that I’ve heard about Dilmah tea. I definitely have to find it now.

Take heart, I’ve been working on a cross stitch pattern for 15 years and it’s still not done. One day…..

    Hi Jan,
Loose leaf tea, eh? How much do you generally put into the teapot?

The longstitch is Peter Rabbit, and I am looking forward to my daughter finishing school early enough to start it – maybe Monday. :D

    Have a wonderful weekend,
    Love and blessings, Jillian ♥

    Hi Jo,
Yes, every project does start with the first step, and I am looking forward to starting it, when my daughter finishes school early enough. :D

I am finding that now that daylight saving has finished I am ready for bed by 8:30 – 9:00. In fact, I sometimes even beat the children into bed. :)

Working with spreadsheets would be taxing on the eyes – I only order our curriculum through a spreadsheet, and by the time that I get to the end of it, my eyes are really sore. I should hate to be working with them all day everyday.

Have a wonderful weekend, my friend,
    Love and blessings, Jillian ♥

    Hi Ruth,
Thank you for your prayers for me – they are very much appreciated. :D

I think that the older I get, the more gets added to my to do list. :)

    Have a wonderful weekend,

    Hi Ruby,
LOL – Sometimes I even beat the children into bed! :D

The doctor thinks that it may be coeliac disease, but we shall have to wait and see. The blood test was unequivocal.

Have a wonderful weekend, my friend,

    Hi Jeanne,
Thank you – it’s nice to be able to keep up with what our fellow bloggers and friends are up to, isn’t it?

You clever girl, you, your trip to Japan must be coming up soon???

Have a wonderful weekend, my friend,
    Love and blessings, Jillian ♥

    Hi Michelle,
Dilmah Green tea is great, and doesn’t have the bitter aftertaste associated with some Green teas. :)

My husband has been working on a tapestry for over 40 years, and it still isn’t finished, so there’s hope for you, yet! ;)

Have a wonderful and blessed weekend,
    Jillian ♥
