Taking a Break

I’m taking a break from blogging for a little while to spend some more time with our children before they’re all grown. I hope that you’ll be here when I get back, and that you’ll understand, but at the moment, I feel that it’s more important that I spend the time having Teddy Bear Picnics, playing dolls’ house and board games with our children.
Tomorrow my daughter and I are having a Teddy Bear’s Picnic on the side lawn ~ we did debate on having it down in the paddock with the goats, but thought that they might be a little boisterous! 
After that, we’re having some more fun!
Praise God for families, but especially for children!
I am a daughter of the King of Kings, seeking to live a godly life and mirror the love of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
I will miss you, but rest assured I will be here when you are back!
Well you have a great time. I try to work on my blogging while my kids are sleeping. Most of the time it works out that way.
Jillian, I think that is a wonderful thing to do for your children. They grow so incredibly fast, and as I have a 20 and 17 yo, I often wish I could wind the clock back to their younger years every now and then.
I had a look at some of your very early posts, and I really enjoyed seeing your back and front yards. You have a gorgeous outdoor area, and I can imagine your Teddy Bear picnic all the more for seeing those pictures. It will be so lovely!
Enjoy your break… might see you on FB? It is not so time consuming, but even that can use up precious time.

Enjoy this time with your precious ones Jillian!! We’ll be waiting for you when you get back. As you know I am unable to blog a lot at this time due to wanting to spend time with the little ones but they grow up so fast and time with them is so fleeting!

Dear Jillian,
You will be missed. I took a break of almost a whole month too, I felt refreshed as I needed to concentrate on everyday life.
Blogging is fun but can consume one’s life if we don’t watch out.
I am taking another break in one more week, for I am going to home(Brazil) for three weeks.
Don’t stay away too long.
I hope your back feels better soon, mine took 4 months to heal, and now I have to constantly maintain it w/ exercises.

I am just popping in to say hello, I too have been getting on with the more important things in life and staying off the computer as it really is an unwanted distraction. You may have noticed I have been quiet around here.
I am going to Jamestown tomorrow…taking my son and his best buddy to the skatepark/bike track there. I may visit with my friend if she is home while the boys have fun or I may just sit and read or knit in the car and relax.

Children are a blessing from the Lord, but sometimes we forget how much of a blessing they are.
My son is now 16 and my daughter is 13, and there are many things that we can be doing together at this point of time.
We had our picnic, and we have been playing dice games, too, as well as just being there for one another.

Home (thinking out loud)- Brazil sounds so far away. I went to physio today, and he tried to work on the three posterior disc bulges, but it was too painful, and I nearly fainted, so he said that we’d try again next week.

Our Teddy Bears’ Picnic was a wonderful experience, and we are planning another picnic when we have a fine day on another farmer’s property, as the scenery is awesome – I have only seen photos so far.

Thank you – yes, our Teddy Bears’ Picnic turned out wonderfully, and we all had a fantastic day, even the teddies.
I, too, wonder where the years have gone. Our eldest son is 16 and my daughter is 13 – it only seems like yesterday that we brought them home from hospital as tiny babes in arms.
