Hi Jo,
Things are starting to settle down here, but the weeks are so busy that I have decided to post on Saturdays only (for now).

My back pain is much relieved, and the stitches have been removed from my foot, and it has finally healed (a month and a half later).

We now have home help, which has done much to alleviate the pressure and stress of housework days, so praise God! My husband’s operation is coming up rather quickly, now, and I’m sure that he’ll be glad when it’s all over, and he can walk without pain.

I totally agree – if many people couldn’t gossip, they wouldn’t know what to say.

Thank you ~ our Pastor preaches an awesome message.

I am endeavouring to get my roots down deep into God’s Word and to be more like Jesus, seeing things from His perspective and not from my very limited one.

We are blessed indeed to be able to call “Abba Father”, knowing that He hears us and our cries for help.

Very true about gossiping – as I work in an office, gossiping is the favourite past time and it happens all the time. If people weren’t allow to gossip they wouldn’t know what to say.

That is a GOOD message Jillian. He has spoken truth, and a truth that needs to be heeded by all.

I am into the ‘roots going down deep’ lately. It is the message swirling around in my mind. I love it. I want deep roots into my Jesus and His Word, His truth.

Gossip, well, he has hit the nail on the head. People need to stop being people, and be as He was, gracious, loving, reproving, and merciful. When we are more like Him, we will be more able to see things from HIS perspective, not our own limited one.

Oh my He is beautiful. He is altogether lovely and just. Aren’t we blessed to call together, “Abba Father”.

Blessings and good to see you post again, even if it’s just Saturdays

Hi Amanda,
Thank you, my friend, for the love that you share by just dropping in to say hi. Things have begun to settle down here, too.

Healthwise, my back pain is much more tolerable these days, as the pain medication has been increased. I am still doing my exercises, but it is a slow process to see improvement. My stitches have been removed and my foot is now healed.

I am spending time on the computer on Saturdays at the moment, as the weeks are so busy.
